1Biz AI Usage Policy

Capitalized terms have the meanings in the Terms of Service.

1. Covered AI Features

This Policy covers AI Features shipped in 1Biz:

• AI Copilot (chat assistance)
• AI Estimator and SnapQuote (estimate generation; shared estimate quota)
• AI Integrate (integration assistance)

Processing is performed server-side via our AI provider (Anthropic), subject to plan quotas and abuse rate limits.

2. How AI is used / prompt handling

When a Business User invokes an AI Feature, relevant prompts and context provided (and limited Business context needed to fulfill the request) are sent to Anthropic’s API to generate a response. Usage is counted against the Business’s plan monthly AI limits. We process those inputs as needed to provide the feature, operate quotas, and secure the Platform.

3. Human review required; no professional advice

• Business Users must review all AI outputs before using them with Customers or for pricing, scheduling, compliance, or other business decisions.
• AI Features do not provide legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice.
• Do not submit sensitive data you are not authorized to process.
• Do not use AI Features to generate illegal, discriminatory, deceptive, or infringing content.
• Do not attempt to extract model weights or circumvent quotas.

4. Accuracy disclaimer

AI outputs may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. 1Biz does not guarantee accuracy. The Account Holder remains responsible for business decisions and Customer communications.

5. Model training and retention (what we state as true)

• 1Biz does not use Customer Content or prompts to train our own machine-learning models.
• We do not sell prompts as a standalone data product.
• Prompts and outputs are processed to provide AI Features and for security, abuse prevention, and quota enforcement. Retention follows our Privacy Policy and Data Retention Policy (while the account is active and for limited periods after deletion as implemented).
• Anthropic processes inputs under its API and commercial terms. We configure Anthropic as a Connected Service to fulfill your requests. For Anthropic’s handling of API data (including any training or retention practices under its then-current terms), see Anthropic’s published terms and privacy documentation. We do not separately warrant Anthropic’s internal practices beyond our contractual relationship with Anthropic.

6. Availability

AI Features require configuration of provider credentials on our servers and an eligible plan/trial. Features may be throttled, modified, or temporarily unavailable.
